About

Engineering background,
product mindset.

Electronic engineer by training, software developer by passion. I have spent years building things that bridge code and the physical world.

Background

My foundation is electronic engineering, which means I understand what's happening from silicon all the way up to the application layer. Professionally I work as a Senior Software Developer focused on Java, with solid experience in AWS and Linux server administration. I can also handle frontend and shell scripting when needed.

What motivates me most: systems that have to work well under real conditions, not in demos. Maintainable code, predictable infrastructure, and the satisfaction of seeing a service run alert-free for months.

Areas of work

Professional

Software Engineering

Java backend, API design, integration with cloud services. AWS deployments focused on cost and observability.

Hobby

Hardware & Embedded

Semiconductors, microcontrollers, single-board computers. Where the datasheet matters more than the framework.

Research

Edge AI

LLMs and voice models running on modest hardware. More privacy, less latency, less dependency on someone else's cloud.

Technical philosophy

I prefer boring solutions that work to brilliant solutions that need a dedicated team to maintain. This site is a good example: static HTML served by Nginx from a Raspberry Pi, no frameworks, no build pipeline, no npm install. If I want to change something five years from now, I open a text editor and I am done.
